9/21/24 Emo Music Festival in Belfast

Our daughters would really like to go to the Emo music festival in Belfast as part of our 10 day Ireland trip in September (tentative dates 9/18-9/28). We land in Dublin from US, and we'll spend a couple of days in Dublin area. I'm looking for help/suggestions on the Belfast music festival which starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm. Should we:
1) Rent a car in Dublin airport to go to Belfast, and drive back to Dublin after the music festival. How is night driving between Belfast and Dublin? Or should we stay the night and drive back the next day?
2) Take the train from Dublin to Belfast. Is there a train after 10pm going back to Dublin? Or should we just stay the night, and hop on the train the next day back to Dublin?
The music festival is in Limelight, 17 Ormeau Ave. How is the parking in that area? How far is the train station?

Thank you.

Do these things really start/end 'on schedule'?

Dublin-Belfast is a bit over 100 miles
I suspect you would not get back before 1AM, having to deal with traffic leaving the venue etc.

How is the parking in that area?

If the venue is the Limelight Lounge, there does appear to be nearby parking:

There is a train station a half mile away, (Lanyon Place station) No idea if that is the one you would need. I will let you check train schedules, based on your belief on when the concert will end.
