8 days in South west Ireland self drive

Hi travelers and friends
photographer husband and I in Ireland first week of October, a limited time so trying to hit less touristy spots but great areas for photos and food!
We land at Shannon at 8:30am and rent our car... thinking a few hours and lunch at Bunratty Castle (I've been he hasn't) then off to Cliffs of Moher. Then head south to Dingle... can we get there in time to find a B&B for the first night; how long to drive? or should we stop elsewhere on the way? and Where?
Drive the Dingle Penn.. explore the town and be in Kilarney on weekend to see Muckross House and explore park..maybe two days? Down to Kenmare and maybe Beara Penn and or Sheeps Head Drive depending on time...making our way east with a stop in Kinsale before heading to Cork to catch our flight home on Oct 7.
How does this sound doable? especially interested in time driving from Cliffs of Moher to Dingle, taking ferry at Killimer.
thanks

Hello. We were in Ireland for two weeks in June/July and one of the most beautiful places that we came across was Gleninchaquin Park. The entrance is pretty early on the Beara loop drive from Kenmare if you go counter-clockwise. We were looking for (and found) an ancient stone circle and could not believe how lucky we were to stumble across this amazing place. We only saw one other car there the entire time. My son is an avid photographer and he could not get enough of this place. Here is a link for you: http://gleninchaquinpark.com/
We did not do the entire Beara Way, we crossed over to Castletownbere and then headed back to Kenmare where we went over a beautiful mountain pass. I really recommend making time for this lovely and not crowded peninsula.

We took the ferry across on our way to Cliffs of Moher from Dingle and just happened to arrive as the cars were lining up to go on the ferry! It does run every 1/2 hour in the summer which made it easier but even if you have to wait for a bit it was worth it even if it ends up not saving you time, it is so relaxing to just hop on and ride and have a break from the stressful driving. We thought that we would have to go in and buy a ticket but you just pay on the boat when they come around to your car.

Have a great trip!
