Hi everyone. We are lucky to be able to visit Ireland for a second time. My last trip couple years ago we saw Galway, Limmerick, Adare areas. We are hoping to see east coast and are adding this trip onto a trip to France. So after 6 days in France will fly from Paris to Ireland. I’ve never seen Dublin, so I’m interested however I’m also very interested in the southeast such as Cork and Kinsale. We are also interested in biking on Waterford Greenway. I’ve got three older teens with us who enjoy outdoor activities and seeing castles, hiking, gardens, photography and eating and just exploring shops and culture. Would also love to see coastal areas as I collect sea glass and love walking the beach. So I know 4 days isn’t much. I can’t do all of this. I’ve been intrigued by photos of Cork, Cobh , Kinsale and Dungarven. Would flying into Cork make sense and stay in the southeast, allowing us to bike on Waterford greenway one day ( not long biking we plan on maybe 4-5 miles only). Or would flying into Dublin be better , spend a night there then see Kilkenny and coastal area such as Wexford and some castles and activities on that area? We will be renting car and driving as we did last trip. Thanks for opinions.
