We will be staying 2 nights at Kilronan Castle, Boyle, Co. Roscommon in May. Driving up from Dublin, does anyone have suggestions of interesting places to visit, lunch, etc along our route? Which is a more picturesque route, N4 or N3?
Also, what is nearby the Castle for day excursions while we are there?
