1st trip to Belfast

Hello-
I spent 2 weeks in September on a solo trip to Scotland & Ireland, and I am planning on going back in 2016.

I would be travelling from Glasgow to Ireland. My questions are this:
Better to fly into Dublin and take train to Belfast or visa versa?

Can I see Belfast and the Giant's Causeway in 2 days? I would just spend my entire time in Belfast on this trip, but I have friends in Dublin with whom I want to spend at least a day.

I was considering flying into Dublin, then take train to Belfast. (depending on fares) Spend 2 nights. 1 day touring city (want to see Titanic Museum & the murals from "the Troubles") Then catch a day trip to the Giant's Causeway.

I am a woman traveling solo, and I am not up to trying to drive a car! So I have to rely on public transportation.

Any other suggestions?

thank you!

There are supposed to be some guided tours of the areas involved with "the troubles". Believe they may be "taxi" tours or private car tours. Don't have the names, but you should be able to locate them on Google.

Norman Reilly is whom I used for the black taxi tour. He's quite good and can also take you to the Causeway if you pre-book. Belfast really isn't a very large city so most other places you can get to on foot or wait for the bus. I chose hoofing it, but bring an umbrella and/or rain jacket.

The train to Belfast from Dublin takes only 2 hours plus change, so it's not a problem to get there from Connolly Station. Trains leave about every 2 hours. Getting to Connolly Station from the airport is also easy, as it's a stop on the Airlink bus.
