17 days to drive Ireland -suggested itinerary please ?
What do you like to do? Are there must "sees and dos" in your book? Are you looking to just stick to the South or cover the North as well?
You need to give us more :)
Exactly! 17 days can be awesome!! Let's have you slow down and enjoy it!
I have been working on creating itineraries for friends (just my area, mostly - not the entire country!) and I divide them up based on terms the government uses, here: Culturally Curious; Monk Trails; Adventurers.... give us a bit more info and we'll all be able to help you a bit more!
Things that would help....
Do you want museums? pubs? snorkeling trips? beaches? horseback riding? Food trails? Art trails?

We hope to get north for a bit. Interested in natural beauty, history, walking ( no horse riding, snorkelling ) off the track /old world charm , interesting buildings,
food , pubs, music... Hope this helps -thank you !
I'm going for 23 days and I used the suggested itinerary on page 8 of the 2017 Steve Reeves Ireland book as a guide. I decided to stay In Cork rather than Kinsale and Kilkenny instead of Waterford, but I intend to see all of the same places...by car. I also used--and recommend-- the Lonely Planet Ireland book. They have 1, 2 and 3 week itineraries that are very helpful.
