14 day Ireland itinerary advise

We are heading to Ireland for 14 days in April on a self-driving tour of the country. We are flying in and out of Dublin and will finish our trip with 2 days there.

We are going to head to Galway for 4 nights, exploring that area with a day in Galway, a day on the Connemara drive, and a day trip to Aran Islands.

From Galway we’ll head to Doolin for two nights visiting the Burrens and Cliffs of Moher.

From Doolin we’ll drive to Dingle for 6 nights taking in a hike, the Slea Head drive, Blasket Islands and a day golfing.

We’ll head back to Dublin visiting Tara before we drop the car. Have a day and a half in Dublin before heading back to the states.

Is this too much time being spent in these spots? We did Great Britain last year and spent way too much time doing 6-8 hours driving. Advise on our plans?

I would take 2 days from Dingle and add one to Dublin and use the other one somewhere between Dingle and Dublin.. Kinsale comes to mind.

Agree with Sharon about taking off one or two nights from Dingle. Not that you would run out of things to do, but it would be nice to break up a drive back to Dublin. Maybe the Killarney or Kilkenny area.
