I am arriving in Dublin very early in the am. I was wondering where the best places to park for the day might be. I don't mind using public transportation to get into the city proper. I am spending the night in Drogheda. Thanks!

There is public parking at St Stephen's Shopping Centre, but while that would put you right in the town center, you would have to drive clear in to get there. Why not leave your car at the airport for the day, since you are coming from Drogheda, and take the bus in?

In addition to the airport option, Rick's book describes the DART commuter train system from Howth (about 4x/hour, 25 minutes, €5.25 for a same-day roundtrip).
