10 day trip without car

Hello,
Looking for itinerary help for a 10 day trip without a car. Would like to do some hiking, visit Dublin and Galway and see the Cliffs of Moher. Because we won't have a car, am wondering if you can suggest an itinerary where we could see some of the traditional sites..

Thank you

I considered it but ultimately rented a car. You can easily travel between Dublin and Galway by train. Then you can look for smaller day tours to see the cliffs--there must be tons out of Galway.
Or, with public transport you could cobble something together by walking from the cliffs to Doolin or vice versa.

It’s quite easy to see a lot of things without a car if you are going to base yourself in Dublin and Galway. There are a wide variety of guided day trips from both cities so you won’t have any difficulty getting to the Cliffs of Moher. From Galway you can also find day trips to the Aran islands, Connemara region, and others. From Dublin you can get a day trip to Glendalough, Newgrange, or even just go on your own to either Belfast or Kilkenny. Many day trips will make more than one stop, so they are a good way to see a number of sights without a car. This question has been asked several times so would suggest doing a search and reading through the responses to see what may appeal to you.

Along the lines of what Anita suggests, on a 10 night trip, I spent 4 nights in Dublin (day tour to Newgrange), 3 in Galway (day tour to Connemara) 2 in Doolin (hiked Cliff walk and day trip by ferry to Aran Islands), and 1 in Ennis. The Doolin ferries operate April - October whereas the ferries near Galway to Aran Islands are year round.
