Looking for Itinerary Sugestions

Hi everyone, my husband and I will be visiting Ireland for the 3rd time this June, for 10 days, and we'll have a rental car.
I've worked out much of the trip, but am stumped where to go near the end. I'd appreciate any sugestions! Here's what I have so far:
Day 1: Fly into Dublin, spend night in Kilkenny
Day 2: One night in Cobh
Days 3&4: Kenmare
Days 5&6: Dingle
Days 7, 8, 9????
Day 10: Spend night at hotel near Dublin Airport, flying back to US the next day.

We love staying at B&B's and I have them already booked for the first 6 nights, including the same one we stayed at in Kenmare 3 years ago and loved. I'm just not sure where to go after we leave Dingle. I don't want to spend all day driving to a location. We prefer cute little towns and villages over big cities. Ideally I'd love to stay at the same location for days 7 & 8, and day 9 somewhere 1/2 way to Dublin. We've already seen the Cliffs of Moher, been to the Aran Islands, and to Bunratty castle. Any ideas would be appreciated!

We absolutely loved Belfast - in so many ways. Actually, we enjoyed it even more than Dublin.
LOVE Dingle - see about the Falconry Experience and music in a church!

Where have you been before (besides Kenmare, CoM, Aran and Bunratty)? Are you able to change any of your stays? My suggestion would be to stay longer at each stop. You're already planning 5 stops on a 10-day trip.

I think my itinerary needs some tweaking!

This is very true for one night stops which give less than a day in a place. If me, I would add an extra day to both Kilkenny and Cobh. There's lots to see and do in Kilkenny (castle, cathedral, Black Abbey, Rothe House...) An extra day in Cobh will also allow you to visit Kinsale and see a bit more of the area.

Then use the last night to stop in somewhere around Athlone. This is an attactive town with its castle and St. Peter and Paul's Church: Sean’s Bar is officially recognised by the Guinness World Records as the oldest pub in Ireland, dating back to 900AD.

The early Christina site of Clonmacnoise with its ruined churches, round tower and carved crosses is only a few miles away.

It’s just a short distance back to Dublin. You could visit Trim Castle on the way or else Newgrange..
