hello-
we have just 1 1/2 days in dublin at the start of our trip + another 16ish hrs (overnight) in dublin at the end of our trip. any suggestions on things to do for a early-20s group of friends who like adventure + backdoor traveling? ideally we'd like to travel outside of the city for a bit on little day trips out of the city via public transportation, biking, etc. to see some of the countryside or villages outside of dublin. we aren't crazy about renting a car for the short time or guided bus tours.

Hiking/ riding bikes in Howth, just outside city center. You can take the DART from Dublin to Howth, for good walking/ hiking trails and pubs along the way.
