Hi everyone! I am going to be travelling solo for eight days in early September. I am not renting a car, but I’m taking a bunch of excursions. I would like to spend time and overnight at Westman Islands. It makes sense and is more time efficient to combine this with south coast drive and take ferry over. But All the south coast trips take you back to Reykjavík. Any suggestions?

You will rant to rent a car for this unless you find a specific Westmann Islands tour.

I just did a quick Google search. I could not find any tours to Westmann Islands that are part of a south coast tour, but Arctic Adventures runs a one day tour from Reykjavik. So that would at least work if you don't want to rent a car, but you are still out of luck for staying overnight.
