I have a flight arriving at 10 PM at Keflavik airport and need to get a taxi to the Courtyard Hotel. (They don't have a shuttle.) I have read that taxis don't like to drive that short of a distance.
Has any had any experience with this?

I suggest that you Google “taxi Keflavik airport” and contact a couple of companies listed. Be prepared for sticker shock. It will probably cost $20 - $25 USD one way. When we took a taxi from our hotel in Reykjavik to the airport, we arranged pick up ahead of time with a local company. Unfortunately I can’t remember their name.
