Snorkeling in Silfra Fissure in July.... AM or late afternoon/ evening

Hello, I am currently finalizing plans for a 4 day trip to Iceland late July.
On day 3 I am planning to join a day tour for a Snorkeling in the Silfra fissure.. the options I have are 7am departure in morning from Reykjavik or 15:30. Personally I would like to do the 15:30 as the prior day (day 2) is pretty hectic with a 15+ day tour to the south including Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon. Hence really not looking forward to an early start the next morning.
I believe from a visibility standpoint, snorkeling in the evening should not matter since the sun is still shining brightly.
My concern was more to do with the notion that it might start getting too crowded later in the day.
Thoughts appreciated.

It won't make a difference....actually I think there will be fewer people at the end of the day rather than the beginning. That time of day people are starting to wind down sightseeing and activities, despite the long hours of daylight. I do believe that they limit the number of people snorkeling the fissure at any given time.
