sim

We will be traveling to Iceland and the Baltic region (including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany) next month, and I will need a virtual sim (sorry that "sim" is not capitalized, as the system thinks I am shouting and will not post if capitalized) for my phone. My use will be very light, such as occasionally checking email, looking something up on the Web, etc.

I am wondering about what the easiest-to-install sim might be. The last time I traveled to Europe, I was able to successfully install a sim, but it was very complicated, and I could not be sure that it worked until I arrived, which was rather stressful. I am willing to trade cost for something simple, straightforward, and easy to install.

If there are any recommendations by non-technical people, then I would greatly appreciate the pointers.

I am the most non technical person around, lol, which is why we just use our cell phone international plans or the wifi units that the rental car companies have. I have heard that there is a place in KEF that has them, but that is all I remember about it, sorry.

mikliz97 - I tried that when we went to Canada. We have Mint Mobile, and when we arrived in Victoria, I had no service despite them telling me that I would. Fortunately, we were met by a friend of mine, so it worked out, but without him, it would have been difficult to figure out where our hotel was.

I wish you the best. I am clueless on this, so hopefully someone else will know. You might post on the technology tips forum here.
