Getting down to really planning details for our trip in June - if we aren’t doing the snorkelling is it still worth it to see? Pictures don’t make it seem too interesting aside from the clear deep water. I think the very idea of it is a cool concept but would we feel like we missed something if we missed it because we are running out of time? I know it’s a personal taste thing but any input about “glad I did it!”, or “you can skip it” would be appreciated!
We have not done the snorkeling trip, so didn't bother going to the site. I'm sorry I can't help in your decision. Just know there there are SO many great places that you will find and make more stops than planned, so because of this I would skip the site.
I don’t think you’d miss anything if you didn’t go. I went, since I was in the area, but didn’t snorkel. It was just as you think it would be - pretty, clear water, and the idea of what you’re looking at is interesting, but certainly think there are other places more worthy of your time (in my opinion) if you’re not snorkeling it.
Thank you! That pretty much confirms what I thought. If I can fit in a visit to another geothermal spa, I’d rather do that!
Sounds like me! I learned early on to bring 2 swimsuits so that I don't have to put a wet swimsuit on. So many lagoons/hot springs to try!
