I will be traveling to Iceland in June and deciding if iI should drive the ring road or do day excursions from 2 towns. Any suggestions or itineraries would be helpful. Thank you!

Hi, It looks like you haven't gotten any responses. Sorry about that. We did the Ring Road in about 12 days. A seven day ring road is possible but obviously will be a little more rushed. Do you have 7 full days for the Ring Road or 7 total days which means you lose 1 or 2 for travel and potentially jet lag? Assuming you have 7 solid nights to devote to the road trip, you can easily find tons of itineraries online. Accomodation for June may be pretty well filled up at this point - have you started booking? All in all, it is much better to change locations and see Iceland as a road trip, than to day trip from 2 spots in my opinion.
