Don't see much content on this, I assume buying a SIM card at the airport is fairly simple with a variety of options, anyone have recent experience with this?

Because I was traveling around Iceland for a little more than three weeks I purchased mine at the local Síminn phone store in Reykjavik. I also had an eSim from Airalo which was useful for my travel beyond Iceland. Síminn’s SIM card performance (which also included calls) was stellar.
My arrival experience at the airport did not allow additional time to make a purchase.
