Reykjavik Airport Luggage Storage

We will be flying from Seattle to London with about 1.5. hour layover. In Reykjavik. On our return to Seattle from London we have a 5 night stopover in Iceland. Is it within reason to think we could store a duffle with our winter clothes at the airport at that time? I imagine we would have to leave the security area and get back in even if possible.

Also wondering what the procedure will be for entering Iceland and London from the U.S. I suppose the outcome of Brexit might influence procedures in Britain.

Thank you.

I can't help you with the storage question but can with the other as I have done it recently. You might want to check with the airport:

When you get off the plane in Reykjavik you will transfer to your London flight that will be in the same part of the terminal so you don't go through passport control in Iceland. You will go through passport control in London.

On your return you will be entering Iceland so you will go through passport control both entering and leaving Iceland. Iceland is a Schengen country.

Brexit should have no effect on you except possibly longer lines in London.
