Wake Up Reykjavik is the one who partners with the original food tour. We have done it twice and it is excellent! Do note that there is plenty of good do it will cover lunch and dinner for you.

In this past July, friend and I took the food tour with Your Friend in Reykjavík. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Guide was informative and humorous. Food was equally enjoyable. Five or six stops. We had a small group of about eight people. Late afternoon, and thus the tour served as our dinner. More than adequate. I would give the tour high marks.

BTW, Wakeup Reykjavik is the same as Reykjavik Food tours, just two different platforms to book through, but the same tour/same owner etc.

I had the same experience as JimD, though I was the only person on the tour (I went off season).

CL--It has gotten so much busier even in the off season. We did the tour at the end of October 2022, and then in February 2024 and both times the tour was filled.
