There is a brand new lagoon that opened yesterday! I have ha my eye on this for months and we are headed there on my next trip. This is location in Hveragerði, which is near the Reykjadalur thermal hike, so about 40 minutes or so from Reykjavik and about 75 minutes from KEF. The Hot Springs Lodges at the Greenhouse are across the street from the lagoon. We booked out lodging there a few weeks ago, and already the prices for our dates have risen, so I am glad we booked when we did. I am itching to get out last day booked there, but had to email them for some details, but once I hear back, we will book this asap. Check out the website in detail, especially the signature admission and the photos of the bathhouse. I can hardly contain my excitement over this;)

Linda and Gail--May cannot come fast enough! My husband will be getting back to Reykjavik in a couple of days and I will see if he wants me to book him for a day there. I think they are stopping at Hvammsvik on their way back though, so that may be enough for him. He does enjoy the lagoons as much as I do!
