We are planning to travel the Ring Road mid-September and wondered if others who have traveled at the same time found restaurants to be quite warm inside. I know to layer, but I'm wondering just how warm we can expect them to be.

We did the ring road in late August last year. We did a mix of cooking at our cottages and then dining in restaurants when we were in hotels. The restaurants we were at were not too hot. They were just right for me, and I run hot, FWIW. When we were there in February, we also didn't find restaurants too hot, and we ate out every night. I just took my jacket off and was fine. The only places we found to be hot were hotel rooms, but that was easy, just open the window for a few minutes and that worked perfectly.

Thank you! I've heard places can be warm and am trying to pack lightly (difficult for me).
