Perlan and Viday without a car?

Hi,
I’m interested in seeing Perlan (https://grapevine.is/mads/2019/06/05/the-northern-lights-never-leave-reykjavik-at-perlans-arora-planetarium/ ) as well as hiking on Viday

Anyone accessed these sites from Reykjavík without a car?

I understand Perlan has a free shuttle from Harpa.

We are staying close to the ferry for Viday. So that will be a quick hike to the ferry.

Anyone have feedback about accessing these two sites from Reykjavík?

I took a city bus to Perlan and actually walked back to downtown, though I wouldn't recommend it,
