Hi All- I booked super central in Reykjavik thinking I wouldn’t pick up my car until headed out of town, but plans shifted and now I will have it while we’re there. Hotel has zero parking and dead center in town. Anyone have experience with a good safe place to ditch the car overnight within walking distance of city hall?

Here's a couple of links that may help you.
It looks as though there are a couple of lots near the pond, which should be convenient if there are spots available. If you want a parking garage, The Town Hall lot isn't a bad choice? I would plan on having to pay, but I'd feel like that was the safest option where I wouldn't be worried about the car.
