I’m seeing conflicting information online with Google saying it’s “permanently closed”. Anyone have any current info, either way? We were thinking of choosing to stay at the attached hotel in part to go there for dinner, but may choose elsewhere.
We’re going to be going from Heimay Island over to the Golden Circle for an overnight at the end of the Ring Road, before we head into Reykjavik to wrap up our trip.

I believe it is closed. An alternative in Selfoss would the Ingolfsskali Viking Restaurant. We have been a few times and it is excellent! One of the times we were staying up in the Golden Circle and it was not too much driving.
