We (married couple in 60’s) want to stop in Iceland for a few days next spring /summer /early fall on our way to a UK destination. We plan on spending 2 days in and around Reykjavik using local transportation options on our own. Before or after that, we want to use the skills and convenience of a private tour guide to drive us around to see some specific types of things, also for 2 days. We understand this is not an inexpensive option. After considering multiple options, this would be the ideal fit for us.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
