looking for accommodations for small company retreat not too far from Reykjavik

We are looking for a place that could accommodate 15-20 people for a week long retreat for our small company which supports non profit organizations. We have offices in both DC and London, and Iceland seems like a good meeting place for our adventurous group. Ideally, we're looking for accommodations for all, a conference-type room large enough to hold meetings, and either provide us with meals on site or not too far off site. Of course, we'd be taking sight seeing and hiking excursions as well. I know Reykjavik is pricy as far as accommodations and meals and was wondering whether there are some smaller towns -- but still not too far from the airport -- that might have facilities that can accommodate us. Although we do not need an official high-tech conference center, we'd need a room where we could run digital presentations and of course we need good access to WiFi in order to remain in touch with global clients.

Thank you for your suggestions.

This may be too big, or too far from Reykjavik, but we stayed at Hotel Selfoss, in Selfoss. It is a modern hotel, maybe 6 floors, with an on-site restaurant and conference rooms. It is about 1 1/2 hours from Reykjavik, near the coast, and south of the Golden Circle. Selfoss is a good-sized town, more or less the beginning of the South Coast, so lots of sightseeing and hiking opportunities from there.

Good luck!

Hopefully this link may help, it's the standard business hotels (several recognizable brands like Hilton and Radisson Blu):

Radison Blu looks like a good fit because the meetings rooms are on the small side:

"DETTIFOSS is a spacious Meeting Room suitable for 20 guests and includes amenities and equipment to make your meeting a success.

GOÐAFOSS Meeting Room accommodates 14 guests boardroom style but can be utilized in a diverse way and accommodate up to 35 guests. Tables can be arranged or removed for additional seating. This room also includes all the amenities and equipment to make your meeting a success."

Thank you all for the creative and varied suggestions! We are following up and enjoying clicking on all your helpful links.
(Remember we are looking for places OUTSIDE of Reykjavik. I have no doubt there are suitable places there.) We are thinking maybe in the direction of the south coast. Anyone familiar with the towns down that way?

To be clear, we're not looking for an official conference hotel at all; quite the opposite. We'd need accommodations -- even the popular cottage/cabin style on a farm type residences -- that might also have a suitable meeting room (for just two dozen people) plus food nearby. This is a young adventurous group without anybody to impress on this occasion, so no fancy digs necessary. We really are planning a retreat in the literal sense where we leave our regular offices behind, hole up together, soak in nature, and talk business strategies while also chasing puffins and elves and climbing on glaciers. Some of us have been to Iceland, driven around in rental cars and know there are no bustling metropolises outside of Reykjavik. But there must be some sort of medium size establishment that would work. Just wondered whether anyone had stayed in such a place. It could be a small hotel with a dining room that closes between breakfast and dinner so that we could use that space as a meeting area, perhaps.
