Do these ever go on sale? In particular I’m eyeing the Berlin to Reykjavik one way for which there is only one offering per day in July. (It is also the only nonstop offering of any airline. Nonstop important as I will be traveling with kids.) Last year that flight was around $250 but this year it’s $389 and I think it’s crept up a bit the past couple months. Should I buy now or wait and hope for a sale?
They are having a Black Friday sale right now. Clear your cookies first.
Thanks! Just checked and now it’s $489!pp! Gah! The Black Friday sales page mainly talked about flights from the US to Iceland.
Predicting the price of airline tickets is hard. I understand that nonstop flights are really nice when travelling with children, but an intra-Schengen connection is usually not that hard, especially if you avoid the mega hubs (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris etc.). And SAS at the moment has flights some days in July for around €200-€250 with a connection in Copenhagen or Stockholm.
