We are traveling to Iceland for 5 days next month, and our teenager is keen on horseback riding, preferably someplace near the water/beach. We are renting a place in Reykjavík, and will have a car and plan to tour around. I’m wondering if anyone can recommend an outfitter or stables within an hour (two max) of the city. Thank you!

I searched on Google and found several rides available. Search horse rental Iceland. I don’t know anyone who has ridden in Iceland so I can’t recommend a specific ride.

Look on Trip Advisor where the many tour options for Iceland are listed, including the horse back riding tours.
