Planning a first time trip to Iceland for late June with my wife. I've seen mixed reviews on ice cave tours and wondering if they are worth our time/money. Similarly wondering if anyone has experience with lava tube tours. Would appreciate any recommendations on location and tour operators to use if you have had a positive experience.
Thanks.

I replied on the other forum;)
Our family loved the Katla ice cave tour. It was a little challenging, unique and beautiful. This leaves from a building in Vik that houses and amazing pizza restaurant!
We too have done Katla. We went with Troll.is who we have had very good luck with a quite a few excursions. Anyway, Troll will either pick you up in Vik at the Soup Company or they can pick you up in Reykjavik.
Thanks to both of you. Will check out Katla. Vik is part of our itinerary so that should work.
