Will we have problems paying for gas with a pinless US credit card. What about paying for food at restaurant?

That is no problem. If you happen to be at an unmanned gas station and have an issue, just use Apple Pay.

You may find that many US gas company cards are not accepted. Use your phone or a tap Mastercard or Visa credit card.
