I am querying whether I am entitled to compensation for a flight delay.
My British Airways flight on 01 March 2018 was cancelled. I was originally due to arrive at 2:55 PM, was rebooked on an American Airlines flight via Charlotte, NC, with an estimated arrival time in Washington at 3:56 PM. This was delayed and I did not arrive in Washington under 6:06pm.
Am I entitled to any compensation?
I currently have claim from a flight from Europe in January.
If the delay was weather or strike related you are not.

There are also companies that for 25% will file the claim as the airline may drag it's feet if you file it directly.
Where were you flying from?
Be aware that the above post was from a company that files claims for customers, and is unusual because it has many English errors for someone with such an English-sounding name.
Most companies keep 25% of the compensation. If you google eu261, you’ll get a lot of information on how to file.
