We are considering traveling from Siglufjordur to Gullfoss Falls using the F35 road. We have rented an SUV. How difficult is this road to navigate?

Hi, scenicwanderer. It would help to know what time of year you are traveling, as seasonal conditions might dictate the answer.
I've not traveled that road, but perhaps others will be able to help.

Sorry, we are traveling at the end of September, most likely September 21st.

Are you familiar with the F-roads and does the rental company allow you to bring the car to F-roads?
By late september it is not certain that the road is open, so you need to keep an eye out for information on closing time.

Thanks for the replies. I think it may be more prudent to plan to stick with the main roads.
