HI!
Has anyone done the cruise to Vigur Bird Island from Isafjordur while being on a cruise? I have it booked but am wondering if it is worth cost. Also, we will be there early August. I hear the puffins usually start to leave by August 10th. In your opinion will the puffins still be around August 4th? Thank you for your help.

We have not been to the Westfjords as that is our summer trips this year. However, in 2021 when we did the ring road the last half of August, there were puffins at Reynisfjara which surprised me. I thought they would be gone by then, but they were plentiful. Hopefully others with first hand information can help you out with Vigur.
