Confused about the 'chip-and-pin' credit card situation

I just wanted to verify with those who have been in Iceland recently since the only post I found regarding this question was from 2022.
I have a Capitalone contactless chip card that I have used extensively in the U.S and the U.K with no issue. We will not be renting/driving a car while visiting but of course dining out, making purchases, paying entrance fees, etc.....nothing unusual for a tourist. PIN numbers in the U.S. seem to be for cash advances which I do not use.

So, my question is, will be no issue using my contactless chip card while visiting Iceland? (in a few weeks!!)
Thanks in advance -

You should have no problem using a contactless card. For the times you charge something over the contactless limit, they will ask for a signature

Should not be an issue, contactless will be seamless for lower Dollar transactions, not sure what the limit is in Iceland, but in the UK it was 100 GBP, in the EU 50 EUR. If you load the card onto your phone in Apple or Google Pay, then the limit is much higher for contactless.

The only places it would be an issue is at unmanned kiosks, like ticket machines, gas pumps, toll booths...but as you said, probably none of those this trip.

An edit...also maybe a problem if you run into younger staff helping you that do not realize a slip prints out for you to sign.

We were there last year and the only place that would not take our credit card was one pay at the pump gas station. Everywhere else was fine including other gas stations.
