We booked flybus a few days before we arrived. Easy - peasy until we arrived in the airport - no wifi! Out for 30 minutes so we couldn't prove we had a reservation as we didn't print out our confirmation. We took it to and from Reykjavik - many stops in central Reykjavik after a transfer at the central bus terminal.
Appreciate the link. How difficult is it to navigate the buses or shuttles from KEF to areas near the Bsi bus terminal? Wondering if it makes sense to stay near bus terminal in order to connect with excursions booked in Reyk.. Staying in Iceland July 27-Aug 1. Any suggestions appreciated.
SOC--I would not stay near the BSI. The excursions pick up in the heart of Reykjavik so no need to stay in a rather blah area of town. Do you have lodging booked yet? If not, I would get that done like yesterday! If you need help, start a new thread with any information so that we can help you.
