We are staying 1 night near the Keflavik airport, flying out at 4p the next day, so we were going to take a shuttle from the hotel to the airport (5 minutes), then a bus to Blue Lagoon and back later. Do you need to reserve a bus from the airport to BL? Or is this a regular route? Thanks.

Thanks. Now I'm not sure it's worth it. BL would be almost $200 for the 2 of us, plus another $80 just for the bus. We might have to skip it!

The Flybus also goes to the Blue Lagoon. It's $140 or so but includes Comfort admission to the Blue Lagoon. Iceland is just expensive no matter what you do...
You can also just book a bus ride from the airport to the BL for about $40. There is free luggage storage at the BL if you want to go straight from the airport. Make sure to book the BL far in advance...they sell out.
