We are looking at a quick stay the first week in November, hoping to see the Northern Lights. Has anyone gone to the Aurora Basecamp to view them?
We also want to do a 2 day tour to Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Rick's book recommends Nicetravel, but I haven't seen them mentioned on the forum. I have seen Troll and Artic Adventures mentioned that aren't in Rick's book. Does anyone have experience with Nicetravel?
I have not used Nicetravel but friends have and they are well known and very reputable. We have used Troll for a number of excursions and highly recommended them. November is a beautiful time there. You may even see the northern lights right in Reykjavik, as we have in several trips that time of year.
Thanks! We have booked with Nicetravel as we like their itinerary a little better. We also booked the Aurora Basecamp, so fingers crossed for clear nights.
