Do the shuttles go directly to the cruise terminal? Is that the most economical and efficient method? We are taking the Viking cruise around Iceland. Any things you think we should know?

I would check with your cruise company. Outside of that, there is the Flybus or a taxi. Flybus is around $38 per person each way to the center of Reykjavik, but I have no idea for the cruise terminal. I am sure their website will have pricing. A taxi is about $150 to the center of Reykjavik, and again I have no idea the cost to the cruise terminal. I would venture to guess that the cruise line has arrangements, so check there first.

Reykjavik has at least two cruise departure points, on opposite sides of the city. Our Windstar cruise left from the easterly one, and returned to the westerly, "downtown" one. I suspect yours is the more downtown one, but make sure before you book transportation.
