We have a rental car and will be traveling the ring road. We have time for one 4x4 jeep tour to get off road while on the south coast. We would like to hike as well as ride. It appears the choices are Porsmork or Highlands. Which tour should we book to see best natural highlights? Carol

Either one will work. We have never done a super jeep tour, but spend a few days at Thorsmark to hike around on our own. It is stunning! We have been into the highlands a bit as well, and again on our own.
I would book whatever works best for your itinerary. You can't go wrong with either one.
