4 1/2 days staying in Reykjavik booked day trip to golden circle/blue lagoon daytrip to south coast. Would like to book a daytrip to snaefellsnes peninsula this just leaves 1 and 1/2 days kfor Reykjavik. What do you think?

I would not stay in Reykjavik and do day trips. Look at multi day tours as that will allow you to see more. You could do a 1 night, 2 day tour of the south coast, and another day tour for Snaefellsness. Reykjavik itself is easy to do most things in a day, so don't worry about short changing it.
You say 4 1/2 days, but what time do your flights arrive and depart? That will make a difference in tour options.

I was in Reykjavik for a similar amount of time. I found plenty to do. I did the circle tour, as well. You do have a very short amount of time, I would research the options for Snaefellsnes and compare prices and itineraries for a day trip vs. overnight.

We are doing a 3 day/two nights tour of Golden Circle and Snaefellsness with Nice Travel, which includes 2 spa experiences. You might check it out. (Many have recommended Nice Travel on the forum.)
