3.5 days in Iceland. What tour company?

Hi, All,
I am arriving in Iceland at 5 AM on Saturday and will depart Tuesday afternoon. I am traveling solo and would like to do group tours instead of renting a car. Do not have a hotel/hostel as yet. Anybody have a tour company that they recommend?
Thanks,
Jake

I was in Iceland 4.5 days on my own. I did a Gray line golden circle tour. It worked well for me except the geyser area was a little anticlimatic after my multiple trips to Yellowstone. I also spent a lot of time touring Reykjavik on my own.

I plan to take some day tours will Troll next year as I have seen them recommended here on the forum.

The Rick Steves Iceland guidebook also has several recommendations for tour companies. Page 167 in the newest Iceland book.

We almost always self drive, but there have been times where we have used Troll and they have been great. On one trip we had a 2 day tour booked, but a storm rolled in and cancelled the 2nd day. Troll was excellent with communication, they processed the refund for that second day immediately, and they squeezed in as much as they could on the one day before the storm hit. We were so pleased with how they handled everything that we have used them for other excursions where you have to have guides. They have been great on every one of these trips.

Thank you all for the responses! I was overwhelmed by options, so those are very helpful in narrowing it down

We’ve twice taken Grayline tours and have been pleased with them. Book tours in advance. Our first time we were not able to get a tour for the next day. Fortunately were in Reykjavik for 3 days and were able to book a later day.

I went on Trip Advisor and looked for tours that had smaller groups and this worked out well. Only 15 people or so in a van doing the South Coast one day and the Golden Circle the next, ending at the Sky Lagoon. Did a food tour my 1st day. I thought the tours were good value as they included pick-up at your hotel.
