1st draft

So I saw this cruise around Iceland and booked for July 2025.
We like cruises, but you generally do not see much (we spent 5 weeks in Andalucia itself).

So now I have read the RS Iceland book and watched many videos.
We decided to go in before cuise and do the Ring, this is what I came up with.
I plan to get far more detailed, but any input is so greatly appreciated.
Any suggestions from sites, to tours, to housing would be very helpful.

A few thoughts.

I would do the Golden Circle at the end so there is no backtracking.

Trying to do Snaefellsness and drive to Akureyri is way too much for one day. Snaefellsness itself takes a full day, if not more, and the drive between say Stikkisholmur and Akureyri is long. Split that into two days.

Likewise, trying to do Westmann Island and drive to Reykjavik is too much for one day, IMO. Stay a night at Westmann, then take a morning ferry back and do the golden circle before heading to Reykjavik.

You are smart to plan a year in advance. That will pay off and you can plan an amazing trip!
