Are there any disadvantages to doing the ring Road in reverse order? Heading east first instead of west? Last 10 days in May.

One advantage (or disadvantage depending on how you look at it) is that going counterclockwise puts you in the outer lane when driving through the fjords. This means you have an unencumbered view when passing cars coming from the other direction. It also means that it makes for scarier driving because if you run off the road.....it is a long drop.
