Which District to stay in?

Hi! I will be traveling to Budapest in August with my wife and children (ages 10 and 8). We prefer airbnb's as hotels can be a little small for a family of 4. I saw that District VI is not allowing short-term rentals and we would prefer to avoid VII to avoid the noise of the nightlife there. Any other recommended Districts?

For airbnb you are left with District V or District VII close to or beyond the 4/6 tramline, or one of the apartment hotels in District VI (my first choice). Send what you are considering and maybe I can tell you something about the location. There is still lots of good stuff in town and at outstanding prices. I suspect you can get a 2 bedroom apartment hotel in a good location for $160 or less. Depends on the date.

The first one has a good location as near as I can tell. AirBnb never wants to tell you where things are but if the publish a photo of the building outside, I can usually find it on google street view. This case no such photo. But the general area is nice. Not the best connected (5 to 10 minute walk to a tram or a metro) but very okay and close to quite a few things to see and do. The price is surprising. Over $200 a night in August?

The second one the location isn’t as good. You are only 3 blocks from a major metro line so you can still get to the right places, it will just take a little longer. You do realize that you cant stand up in that loft? Fairly common here. Personally I wouldn’t chose it.

The third one is in District VII and while that is often not a good thing, this one appears to be far enough out that it might be a good location. I googled it and found a better location map (if its accurate): https://www.booking.com/hotel/hu/city-center-historic-jewish-quarter.en-us.html?aid=1188619&label=697df278bd6dc85657875b35&sid=c5f68b5485c6c8852d654b0606dce3be&dist=0&group_adults=2&group_children=0&keep_landing=1&room1=A%2CA&sb_price_type=total&type=total&chal_t=1769861756843&force_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fbr.bluepillow.com%2F#map_opened-hotel_sidebar_static_map_capla
If that is indeed the location, I might like it more than the first one. Write and ask if they are across the street from Stika Gastropub. If yes. That’s my choice. Very “real” part of Budapest with just a little tourist overlap. But to be fair, a 7 minute walk to a metro or a tram. Also looks to be $200 a night in August.

Thank you for looking at those! The Collect Residence looks nice but it's over $200 a night for the week we will be there. Not a lot of options for short term rentals below $200 that week.

I did find this place that's a little cheaper. It's in VIII but appears to be somewhat close to VII.
