Weekend in Budapest

Hi all, I'm planning a weekend in Budapest for the first weekend in June. So, now that we've booked we see that Pentecost might be a bit of a factor on the Sunday. Can anyone share their experience in Budapest on Pentecost? Maybe we should embrace it and go to church. Is there a particular celebration. It looks like Hungarians are a mix of Catholic and Protestant with some Eastern Orthodoxy thrown in.

Never been there on Pentecost, but June 4 and Whit Monday are both official holidays. "Officially" Hungary is a Catholic country. A lot will be closed, but not most restaurants and I see where most museums will be open too. http://hnm.hu/en/museum/opening-hours and http://www.terrorhaza.hu/en/visitor-information and https://www.jegymester.hu/eng/Timetable/Idorend

I don't think it will be that bad.
