Hi,
I am currently scheduled for 2 nights in Szekesfehervar and 1 night in Veszprem. After re-reading the travel guide I’m wondering if I should switch to 1 night in Szekesfehervar and 2 in Veszprem.
Thoughts from anyone who has been?

Yup, its all I would do. Very different places. Both enjoyable Szekesfehervar three to five hours and Veszprem four to maybe a full day. But add time if you like museums. Szekesfehervar was pretty nice on a Saturday because of the vendors in the square. I am no expert on them. Ive only been to each one time and each was a half day ... Veszprem a long half day.
I guess you are driving to the lake? My choice there is Tihany
