Tuk Tuk tour?

While searching for tours around Budapest, I came across a company offering Tuk Tuk (3-wheeled motorized vehicles) tours of Budapest. Various options for stops and tours including a 1.5 hour boat tour. Various lengths from 2 - 4 hours.

Anyone taken these tours?

Is there a better alternative? We are four 60-70 year olds who don't mind walking, but July will be hot and this feels like a more personal way to see the sites.

Thanks.

I guess the one thing that (I hope) the Tuk Tuk tour will give us is context as to what we are seeing.

Going on the tram might be a good "this is really pretty scenery" trip to just soak in the general ambiance.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I relate to the context statement People are generally good, and if you ask the Tuk Tuk guy questions you might get some good stories.

Two other places to talk to local working people are The Lions Locker for breakfast where the owners will talk your ear off and Kadarka Wine bar where the waiters love to talk.

On the trams carry the little Eyewitness Top 10 guide to Budapest and take a minute to read about the route you are about to take. It will fit in a pocket (Amazon).

Or wait till late July, early August or mid October.
