Travel Card/Budapest Card ??

The TRAVEL CARD give you unlimited access to the public transportation system within the boundaries of Budapest for the duration of the validity of the Card. http://www.bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/prices/ The one exception is the Funicular which isn't covered by the Travel Card. The Budapest Card does the same but also includes discounts at museums, some restaurants, etc. Here is the list: https://budapest-card.com/en/ It is expensive, but if you think you will do a lot of the things that it discounts, then it might be worth the money for you. What is great about either is that you don't have to validate a ticket every time you get on the metro.
