My husband I are going to get a driver to travel one way from Budapest to Prague on November 30. Are there any wineries or smaller towns on the way that are beautiful and nice to spend a little time at?

Do some research for the town of Brno. Its almost exactly half way on what I suspect will take you six hours of drive time.
I am guessing you have this planned already? If not, I know a driver. If not, and you change your mind, I might suggest flying.
